Description :
Adaway is an ad blocker which uses the hosts file located on your system files. The file contains a list of mappings between hostnames and IP (Internet Protocol) addresses. With Adaway app installed on your device, When any app or game requests an advertisement, the request is redirected to this IP address 127.0.0.1 which does not provide any results. You can run a web server to respond to blocked hostnames and to direct requests to the IP address of your own. There is option to download hosts files from the application but it is possible to use your own. It is also possible to your own add certain sites to the white & black lists.
